Parting Thoughts
Acting Ahead for a Future You
Discipline is an essential virtue for any successful entrepreneur. In some sense, discipline is the ability to prioritize the needs of your future self ahead of your own.
But whatever you're thinking now, think smaller. In fact, just think about being your own personal assistant for the future you. Pack your bag and set out your clothes in the evening for your next day. Get your K-cup and coffee ready the night before. You can even say out loud, "Wow, future me is going to love this."
By creating a relationship between the present self and future self - where the present serves the future - you can look forward with care and backwards with gratitude.
