Parting Thoughts

Smooth Handles

Startup culture tends to glorify the grind. Like it's a good thing to go through business life in "hard mode." But while many good things are hard, the fact that something is hard doesn't necessarily make it good.

Instead of assuming that your friction-filled course is the right one, ask yourself the question: "What if this could be easy?"

One of Thomas Jefferson's maxims was "take things always by their smooth handle." Every problem has a smooth(er) handle. Find it and grab it.
